天文笑話（七）

我亦不曉得這能否算作笑話：

以前銀河系一般公認為10萬lys直徑，後來有說20萬，今又有說15萬
銀河系恆總數一般都認為有1000億，今卻有說為：2000億
仙女星系220萬lys遠，有說200萬，也有說180萬，更有說250萬
宇宙半徑即可見範或年歲：原為180億-250億，修定150億，今再修定：120億

其實不專業又胡亂陳述的數字也不少！
如此混亂，又多番修訂的新資料，到底應該信誰的數據才有效才權威呢？

We must bear in mind that our knowledge of the universe is progressive.  Figures changes (or should we say IMPROVES) as we learn more with new technologies.
We need not quote 'the number of stars in our MilkyWay", or the "distance of M31" as these number changes as we have better technology to enable us to reach better (still not ACCURATE!) figure.  Just look at our neighbors: Jupiter and Saturn - their number of satellites have been increasing by the month, then we have the 4th moon of Pluto.  All these are results of our much improved technology.

如果亞視講銀河系直徑20萬光年，但無線講15萬光年，有線又講10萬光年 …
咁我哋呢啲無知嘅草民，又唔係學者，應該對孩子們陳述邊台的說法，方為事實呢又   ╮"  ╯_╰╭"
