Read an old article in Feb. 07 S&T, you could tell how serious Japanese amateurs have been on astronomy work. In this occultation. they succeed in getting the occultation of SAO 78190 by not only asteroid 22 Kalliope, but also the asteroid's satellite!

Looks closely and you could see almost 30 chords, that mean very likely more than 30 amateurs participate in this event.
