Hi,
Ho Cham and I travelled 100 km from Hangzhou to Anji, to join the IAU Solar Eclise Expedition led by Prof. Jay M Pasachoff.
We are lucky to see the whole eclipse, despite the fact that the event was disturbed by thin clouds.
Here is 3 shots from my recording through polariser.

Hocham will post his "diamond ring" later.

May I know, the image blurred, is that cause by the polarizer? Then why is it so?
My polarizer also gave me same effect...but I don't understand why.

Yes, that was a great mistake to choose this type of polariser.  However, I did succeed in getting a complete set of exposures at ), 45, 90 and 135 degrees, each with 100 images.  This series showed the polarization effect on the corona.

The polarizing filter is too thick, and there is double reflection.
