   Can u explain why the inner part of the sun is dark instead of bright?

It's all-white originally but I masked it out during image process to give better contrast.

Surface detail in H-alpha is much brighter than prominences, and so if you target your exposure mainly on prominences, the surface detail will be washed out due to over-exposure.
