Greeting. I am Murphy of Cambridge University Press and it is my pleaure to inform you that in 2009 Cambridge University Press celebrates 425 years of continuous publishing and also marks the 800th anniversary of the University itself, providing an occasion for the Press and University to join in celebrating the respective foundations by commemorating the books, people, ideas and achievements that have emerged from this shared history and which continue to inspire and transform the world.
We are going to organise a series of activities including exhibition and seminars from 20 to 27 March at the British Council in Admiralty and those activities are free and open to the public. As an acamdemic publisher, we believe that it is our chance to contribute the local community and share the special monument of one of the oldest publisher and University in the world.
