農曆十三是拍影在月球左/西邊的風暴洋上的月面特徵的日子, 首先是北面的蛇谷, 有兩個環形山, 阿利斯塔克 ,Herodous與它們附近的月溪組成一條眼鏡蛇的形像. 蛇谷隕坑的輻射紋也很明顯, 整個形呈奇特的長方形地貌,
