GW Lib HST schedule set

Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 513

(http://www.aavso.org/aavso-alert-notice-513),Dr. Paula Szkody (University of Washington) informs us that the HSTobservations for the cataclysmic variable GW Lib have been scheduled for

2015 April 22 04:04:36 - 09:00:06 UT.

Dr. Szkody writes: "[As] the times are UT, thesimultaneous obs will be the night of Apr 21/22 and the critical time for aground confirmation of quiescence will be the night of Apr 20/21. I see theobservers have stepped up and nightly obs are coming into the web site. Pleasegive my thanks when you send out the final times!"

AAVSO observations are needed to ensure that GW Lib isNOT in outburst when observed with HST. Please continue monitoring GW Libnightly until April 19, then intensively April 19-23, and then nightly againthrough May 2.

Coordinates: RA: 15 19 55.45 , Dec: -25 00 25.30(J2000.0)

Please submit observations of GW Lib as soon as possibleto the AAVSO International Database using the name GW LIB. During the nights ofApril 19-20, 20-21, and 21-22, prompt submission of your observations will becritical. In the event of an outburst, please contact the AAVSO immediately.

Charts for GW Lib may be plotted using the AAVSO VariableStar Plotter (VSP, http://www.aavso.org/vsp).
