北美洲地区可见,不知那边的天文同好是否做好准备了呢?
期待那边的观测报告!

IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for
(163) Erigone / HIP 49669 event on 2014 Mar 20, 06:07 UT
Visible from NE USA, E Canada
Summary
-------
On 2014 Mar 20 UT, the 72 km diameter asteroid (163) Erigone will occult a 1.3
mag star in the constellation Leo for observers along a path across NE USA, E
Canada.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star
will drop by 11.1 mag to 12.4 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most
14.3 seconds.
This update is based on UNSO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid kindly
provided by Hugh Harris, TMO astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Bill
Owen, historical astrometry from the MPC files (via AstDys), and the following
catalogs for the star position: .
