The small AR on the E limb from yesterday is now designated AR11777. This AR displays a spectacular eruption starting at about 10:38.
These images are affected greatly by the intervening clouds, and there is virtually no control on the brightness.
Changes are visibly visible by the second.
The shoot-up eruption virtually subsides by about 11:16, while the flares continues.
A second eruption is observed from close to the spot around 11:24. Unfortunately observation has to stop before 11:30 by the threat of black clouds.
I try to re-start observation after lunch. However, when my equipment is ready again, the sky is virtually covered by clouds and only a few snap shots are capture. By then, even the flares have subsided.
