Taken early this morning under. Pls notice two fine delicate rilles, one east of Posidonius and the other one may be the extension of the E-W component of the Rimae G. Bond.
Thanks for sharing the splendors in this region. The rilles become conspicuous under very oblique sun angles.
The E-W rille at the foot of Rima G. Bond seems not formed at the same time as Rima G. Bond. I would imagine it is part of the consequence that produced Rimae Daniell (at north of Posidonius). You see the two rilles are aligned in same direction, and were probably lateral surface fractures caused by the lava mass of Mare Serenitatis. (Personal opinion only).
