日食時有朋友留意到自己在地上的影子，有一邊較為朦朧不清。

是錯覺？或是正常現象？

My guess:

When sunlight shines at a person at low angle, the person's umbra and penumbra are offset (non-concentric). The sharp contrast of sunlight during the eclipse makes this offset more noticeable.
