Asteroid occultation on May 15, 2008

Here is the information for the May 15 occultation event:
The findercharts from Digital Sky Survey are 15 x 15 arcmin, with the target star centred.
IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for
        (6475) Refugium / TYC 6772-01316-1 event on 2008 May 15, 13:42 UT
                   Visible from Philippines, Hong Kong, China


Summary
-------
On 2008 May 15 UT, the 33 km diameter asteroid (6475) Refugium will occult a
10.2 mag star in the constellation Libra for observers along a path across
Philippines, Hong Kong, China.

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star
will drop by 4.9 mag to 15.1 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 2.4
seconds.

This update is based on UNSO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid kindly
provided by Alice Monet, historical astrometry from the MPC files (via AstDys),
and the following catalogs for the star position: UCAC.
