左上方是柏拉圖環形山 (101km) 是個平底的環形坑 , 太陽剛在它的地平線升起 , 它東面的山脈投影在平原上 , 非常獨特 . 靠近右邊是阿爾卑斯狹谷 , 其中還有一條裂隙 . 下邊是雨海中, 有個 Mons Pico, 意即小山 , 像個踱步的肥人 .
