2015 Mar 10 Sun - Flare from AR12297
I was able to capture ~5000 images this morning before the cold front arrives.A strong flare erupts from AR12297 around 11 am.
Unfortunately, my FS2 drive controller broke down last week and I have no motor drive on my mount!I have to "centre" the Sun by pushing the polar axis manually by hand while working with efl=5580 mm !
Telescope: AP Starfire EDT 155 mm f/9.
stopped to 50 mm for disc images, with 4X telecentric lens (f/36) for closeups
filter: Solar Spectrum SO1.5/0.3A with CERF prefilter
Camera: Imperx 4M15
North is up, and east to the left.
