Event: Nova Sgr 2015 No. 3 = PNV J18033275-2816054

Independently discovered by:
- Koichi Itagaki (Teppo-cho, Yamagata, Japan)
- Akira Takao (Kitakyushu, Japan)
- Yuji Nakamura (Kameyama, Mie, Japan)

Discovery magnitude:
- Itagaki: 9.9 U (CCD, using a 180-mm focal length cameralens)
- Takao: 10.5 U
- Nakamura: magnitude not reported (135-mm focal lengthcamera lens)

Discovery date:
- Itagaki: 2015 Sep. 27.4293 UT
- Takao: 2015 Sep. 27.44706 UT
- Nakamura: 2015 Sep. 27.4189

Coordinates (2000.0): R.A. 18 03 32.70   Dec. -28 16 05.7  (from VSX)
- Itagaki: 18 03 32.75  -28 16 05.4
- Takao: 18 03 33.6  -28 16 10
- Nakamura: coordinates not reported

b. Y. Nakamura reports nothing was visible down to 12.5at this location on two frames taken on 2015 Sep. 23.4205 UT. Several observersconfirmed the nova visually or with an image, including Kaufman, Pearce,Camilleri, Bortle, and Guido (see above for locations).

c. P. Schmeer (Bischmisheim, Germany) notes USNO-B1.00617-0684734 is magnitude B1=21.03, I=14.04 at position end figures 13.58s,13.7".
