It seems that Avistack and RegiStax are for avi files. Are they suitable for single film(s)?
IRIS is seems too complicated.
I know some amaturers are using some simplest software. Do you have it?

Both avistack and registax can stack serties of single frames.
If you remember well, we have to extract the individual frames manually from avi files before stacking.  Now this is done automatically, i.e. they can process avi files directly.  They all extract the frames for stacking, but you can just sit and see the software doing all these.

Canon will be teaching this at Hokoon on Wednesday.  Just come to see it yourself.

Both are simple to use.  You can master it in a single session.

Iris is very powerful.  It can do photometry as well as astrometry, in additional to all the image processing tools.

Canon will be teaching this at Hokoon on Wednesday.  Just come to see it yourself.  You can practise using them during the class.

"用作疊多張15至30秒的固定攝影相片",  DeepSkyStacker (DSS) 比較多人用, 要拍dark frames, bias frames/flat frames 的RAW format 相, 通常用default 設定已可完成.

Right !!

Both Avistack2 and RegiStax6 are good for stacking frames in video formats, like avi, when shooting planets/moon/sun.
Fragments can be reconstructed to form a whole using Photoshop or
iMerge : http://jaggedplanet.com/iMerge.html
