Abstract:
In this presentation, I will introduce a simplified model for explaining the optical intraday variability (IDV) of the BL Lac Objects observations. The model is based on the Langevin Equation for producing Stochastic Fluctuations on the vertical direction of the accretion disk. The dynamics of the disk is determined by the restoring (oscillating) gravitational force of the central massive black, superposed with the stochastic fluctuations that result from the interaction of the accretion disk with an external, hydrodynamic type, stochastic flow. Furthermore, the preliminary numerical simulation results will be presented, which are based on the numerical analysis of the Langevin stochastic differential equation.
