Sunspot of new solar cycle - AR12401
Another AR of the new 25th solar cycle showed up on 2015 August 14. Amazingly, for new sunspots of a new cycle, both this group and the AR12365 that showed up on 2015 June 8 appear at relatively low solar latitudes (S12 and S13 r espectively).Attached are images observed on 2015 August 17, 18, 19, 22 and 23, and magnetograms from SolarMonitor.org and SDO for reference.
