2013 October 11 Sun -summary

As AR11856 and AR11857 approach the W limb their activities are subsiding, although AR11856 is still producing some flares today.

AR11862 and AR11866 are very close to the W limb today, but their activities are increasing. Both produce lots of flares and the surging filament from AR11866 is stillgoing strong. The small active patch to their NW is also producing jets of flares.

AR11861 becomethe dominating AR on the solar disc today, and it is producing flares nearly non-stop. AR11864 and AR11865 are relatively quiet but several thick dark filaments appear to the east of these 2 AR's.These AR's are expected to develop further and may become spectacular in the coming days, especially when they are near the meridian.

The small AR11860 and AR11863 are crossing the meridian in the south, and seem yo have develped more. They are associated with several filaments.

On the solar limb, the prominence on the W limb may be associated with the active regions AR11862 and AR11866.These prominence may become interesting when the AR's go edge-on.
Meanwhile, several dark filament near the NW limb are turning out of the disc and are producing some eruptive prominences,These may become spectacular tomorrow.
