This site has been used for ionospheric research (Aeronomy) for more than 20 years.
AT the centre of the lawn, a 30-metre antenna was setup to emit pulses up the sky.The ionospheric layer will echo back some signal.
The electronics were set up in one of the bunkers.
This project was initiated by Dr. Walker of the Physics Department of HKU, who was the PhD supervisor of one of our advisors, Dr. Wong Yuen Wah.
The research facilities were abundant after Dr. Walker retired.

Thanks for your sharing. Do you think it is possible to construct a 7m Radio telescope over there for receiving pulsar signal at Mount Davis now? I have never been there?

I suppose there will be too much interference there.There are many such antennae on that peak by other organizations.
